What we are, and what we are not

We are an independent editorial site. We are not the island of Capri, not the Comune di Capri or the Comune di Anacapri, not the body that runs the Blue Grotto, and not any of the tour operators whose trips are described here. Nothing you buy is bought from us.

How the money works

The booking links on this site go to Viator, which is where these products are sold. If you book after following one, Viator pays us a share of its own commission. The price you pay is the price on the listing; it is not increased because you arrived from here, and there is no version of the page where the fare is lower.

What operators cannot buy

Position, inclusion and wording. No operator has paid to appear on this site, no operator has paid to be one of the featured trips, and no operator has seen a page before it was published. The three trips featured on the homepage were chosen for a spread of price, length and departure point, and the reasoning is written down in our build notes rather than kept private.

Where the figures come from

Prices, ratings, review counts, durations and inclusions are captured from each product's own listing on 5 September 2026 and are the operator's figures, not ours. They move. Facts about the island itself — opening hours, admission, ferry fares, distances — come from the bodies that publish them, and each page that states one carries a Sources block naming it.

Reviews

Every quoted review here is a paraphrase of a real review published on that trip's own booking listing, kept in the reviewer's sense rather than their words, with their first name and the month they wrote it. None of them was gathered by us, none was solicited, there is no aggregate rating of our own anywhere, and none of it is marked up as structured data. Critical reviews stay.

The photographs on this site come from the operators' own product pages, which is where the trips they illustrate are sold. The logo and the icons are drawn by us.
