This is the most-reviewed trip in this list by a wide margin, and the reason is not complicated: it is two hours, it is a shared boat at a per-person fare, and it goes all the way round the island. You board at Marina Grande, run west along the north shore, and come back up the east side past the Faraglioni.
The White Grotto and the Grotta Verde come first — open sea caves your boat noses into, unlike the Blue Grotto, which needs a rowboat and a ticket. Then the Natural Arch and Villa Malaparte from the water, the red house on the rock that most people have seen in a photograph without knowing where it is. The swim stop is off the Faraglioni, and it runs about twenty minutes.
Two hours, harbour to harbour. The stops are short and the swim is the long one.
This trip does not call at the Blue Grotto, and it is upfront about that rather than leaving you to find out on the day. That is a defensible decision on a two-hour boat: the queue at the cave has run to two and a half hours in season, which on a two-hour itinerary is not a stop, it is the whole afternoon.

Piazza Angelo Ferraro 9, at Capri's tourist port in Marina Grande. Walk to Restaurant Da Francuccio, carry on towards the white and red barrier, and the white umbrellas are a few metres beyond it. Meet at 1.30pm. If you are coming over for the day, book a ferry that lands you well before that: the listing is explicit that no refund is issued for arriving late, and the walk along the quay takes longer than the map suggests.
You have one afternoon on Capri and want the island from the water without a charter budget. It is the cheapest way onto a motorboat here, it is the most reviewed, and two hours is genuinely enough to see the coast. It works for couples, friends and families — the boat takes children from four.
